ExposurePoint

ExposurePoint Viewed: 47

ExposurePoint shows a SharePoint site owner, in plain English, how exposed one site is to Microsoft 365 Copilot. Copilot can bring anything a person can open into their answers, so a file shared too widely is a file Copilot can surface. ExposurePoint gives a score from 0 to 100, where a higher score means lower exposure, names every file, link and person behind each issue, and fixes them after you confirm. The score is free.

Getting started

  1. Add the app. Your SharePoint administrator uploads the package to your app catalog, once, for everyone.
  2. Add the web part. Edit a page on the site, add the ExposurePoint web part and publish the page.
  3. Open the page. When a site owner opens the page, the score appears and the 14-day trial starts on that site.

Key features

  • A plain-English score. One number from 0 to 100, one band, and what fixing would do to it.
  • Every link named. Anyone links and organisation links, with the file or folder and who each one lets in.
  • Whole-organisation access found. "Everyone except external users" or "Everyone" on the site, its groups, a library or a file.
  • Guests and wide-open files. External guests who can open the content, and items open wider than the site.
  • Fixed after you confirm. Every confirmation names who loses access, and nothing changes until you confirm.
  • History and reports. Keep a history of the score in your own site, and create a report to send to IT.

Frequently asked questions

How do I see what Copilot can surface on a SharePoint site?

ExposurePoint checks one SharePoint site and gives a score from 0 to 100, where higher means lower exposure. It names every Anyone link, organisation link, guest and wide-open file, and fixes them after you confirm. The score is free.

Does ExposurePoint need admin consent?

No. It needs no admin consent and no Graph permissions, and runs inside your tenant with no servers of ours.

What does ExposurePoint cost?

£149 a year for one SharePoint site, £399 for one site collection and every site inside it, and £1,499 for every site in your Microsoft 365 organisation.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. The 14-day trial starts on a site when a site owner first opens the page, and the score itself is free.
