HTMLPoint

SharePoint can show HTML pages that read live data, but break one of its rules and the page goes blank with no error. HTMLPoint builds a page from a list, CSV or Excel file with no prompt and no code, creates it as a draft as the signed-in person, then checks it, shows who can read each source and keeps it live. Viewers never need the app or a Copilot licence to read a page.

Getting started

1. Add the app. A SharePoint administrator adds HTMLPoint to your tenant app catalog, once. Keep "Add to Teams" ticked if you want the Microsoft Teams app.
2. Add the web part. On a modern SharePoint site, create a page, add HTMLPoint from the toolbox and publish the page.
3. Run set-up. Open the page as a site owner and choose Set up. HTMLPoint creates its hidden lists on that site, and your 14-day evaluation starts here.
4. Build your first page. Pick a list, tick the columns, choose a template and create the draft. Open it to see the real result, then publish it as a separate step.
